This is about New Rocket Union, a band that existed in Minneapolis, MN during 2016 – 2026. What follows are a couple of live recordings which the band has graciously allowed me to share on Live Music Archive with other past, present and future fans.

Since I did not record this show, I’m afraid I don’t have much information to add here.

This recording was located on an internet file-sharing bit-torrent site. The uploader’s original notes appear below my own technical notes. The original fileset had fifteen files, and the volume levels fluctuated a bit at times.

Because I’m fussy, I made some edits to the original fileset – nothing was removed, I just moved a few things around in an effort to separate dead air from actual tracks, and improve the stereo image.

All that having been said, the taper did a great job recording and tracking the set – I daresay I would almost have split things up exactly the same as they did, so it seems like the work of a fan who knew the music, or at least owned a couple of the band’s records. Cheers!
