PDX Pop Now!
CD Release Party
live at Holocene
Portland, OR
4 June 2009

A diverse night of entertainment, this event featured live sets by The Taxpayers, What’s Up?, Jared Mees and the Grown Children, Copy, and all-night spinning from DJ Beyonda. Presented here are a few video highlights from that event – a couple of clips from each of the artists who performed. It took me a while to get all of the song titles for these tracks, but hopefully that shouldn’t have prevented anyone from being able to enjoy the music!

This was just a teaser for the big event, the 2009 PDX Pop Now! festival – a free, all-ages event, which took place July 24-26 at Rotture [formerly Euphoria]. PDX Pop Now! is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization, dedicated to maintaining a local, sustainable, and diverse music scene. If you want to show your support for local music, pick up any or all of the PDX Pop Now! compilation discs at your favorite local record store, and if you get a chance, plan on attending this year’s festival!
