2021 addendum:
This was only the second show we had gone to since moving from Minneapolis to Portland just a month earlier, so I was keeping my record levels conservative, as I was unfamiliar with the acoustics of the room. In retrospect, three settings I haven’t used since probably 2010 include: bass roll-off, attenuation, 16-bit recording. Not that those choices made this recording sound bad in any way, I just think that without them, it might have sounded that much better. At any rate, it made for a stress-free night of recording in a club I hadn’t been to before. The supporting artists were Ghost To Falco, and Evangelista, all of which made for a brilliant evening.
